The solution provided by UmapMe S.A.S. is a real time geo-positioning system that can be used for both professional and private usage. It uses positioning information from GPS, mobile telephony networks and Wifi networks to help you locating and managing your connections (friends, family, mobile employees) simply via their mobile phone without the need of any other dedicated equipment.

This system aims to easily provide accurate and appropriate information (real time position, speed, covered distance…). In a professional environment, this would for instance allow to increase the number of employees’ interventions while improving the itineraries, thus saving time and money…

Still for professional purposes, the solution would allow you – in accordance with the privacy protection imposed by the countries and their labor laws – to define the profile of your mobile staffs with their working hours, specific scheduling rules, potentially their delivery round… You will then be able to visualize their itineraries and timing during their visibility period, to modify their assignments and log the information for back office treatments (for itinerary optimization, overtime management, clocking in/out purposes…).

On the other hand for a private usage, you can set your own visibility schedule depending on your connections’ categories (friends, family, colleagues, others…).
